Today we celebrate the Seventh Sunday of the Year: Cycle B - Forgiveness.

Ash Wednesday: Wednesday next is Ash Wednesday the first day of Lent. It is a day of Fast and Abstinence. The Church invites us to decide on our personal Lenten Penance. We are invited to live simply so that others may simply live. Our Fast or Abstinence should benefit those in need especially people living in the Third World. A SCIAF Box in the home to contribute what you would have spent on luxuries might be of help during the season of Lent. Boxes available at the back of the Church today.

Masses on Ash Wednesday at St. John Ogilvie’s : 9.00 am and 7.30 pm; ashes will be distributed after the Gospel at Mass.

Oblate Connections: Spring edition available at the back of the Church today.

Annual Sleepover – Friday 9th March: The Annual Sleepover for P3 upwards will take place on Friday 9th March. Sign up sheet available at the back of the Church.

Happy Birthday - 102: This weekend we are privileged to have in our midst Sam Martinez who celebrates his 102nd Birthday. Sam’s advice is "don’t worry". He is an example to all as he walks to Mass every Sunday. Many happy returns Sam and may you continue to bring joy and dance to this community for many a day.

Fairtrade Fortnight begins 27th February: Fairtrade stall Saturday 25th / Sunday 26th February after all masses.

Lent Retreat: Theme - "Take off your shoes for you stand on holy ground".

Director of Finance: The Archdiocese has a full-time post available as a Director of Finance. The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall management and planning of the Diocesan finance activity. He/She will be ACCA, CIMA qualified.
